Sisters of Providence Ministry Corporation Board selects Kim Davis as new President / CEO

AFTER AN EXTENSIVE SEARCH the Sisters of Providence Ministry Corporation Board (SPMC) is delighted to announce the selection of Kim K. Davis as its new President / CEO. She begins her new role on September 9, 2024. Commenting on the choice, Sister Kathleen Popko, SP, SPMC Board of Directors’ Chair, said:
“Kim Davis is an accomplished executive who brings to the position rich leadership experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit arenas. Importantly, we recognized in Kim a resonance with our mission and values as well as her personal desire to serve others and her commitment to promote and sustain SPMC’s ministries that strive to bring hope and healing to those in need.”
With a career spanning over three decades, Kim brings vast knowledge and experience in finance, treasury and accounting, holding leadership positions at prominent financial institutions including MassMutual, Charles Schwab, and several large commercial banks in locations across the country. Her impressive career journey reflects a strong foundation in financial stewardship and strategic leadership.
Kim received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Texas A&M University and her Master of Science, Finance, from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Texas. In addition, she is a Certified Treasury Professional and Certified Professional Controller.
Choosing to transition to nonprofit leadership, she most recently served at Wilbraham & Monson Academy for 10 years as the Chief Financial Officer. In accepting the position, Kim wrote: “I happily and excitedly accept this offer! I am humbled by the faith that they’re placing in me for this role, and look forward to leading in their mission to bring hope and healing. I’m confident that working with the talented staff we will continue to develop the outreach of Sisters of Providence.”

Kim lives in Longmeadow with her husband and has two grown children.
