With tender compassion, we dedicate ourselves to bringing hope to those in need through our ministries of healing, attending particularly to the cry of those who are poor and oppressed.
We recognize that now more than ever people need to experience a Provident God who is with all of us in our struggles to shape a new creation based on justice and peace.OUR MISSION SISTERS & ASSOCIATES
Ministries of hope and healing
The Sisters of Providence (SP) and Sisters of Providence Ministry Corporation (SPMC) operate several ministries that bring hope and healing to those in need: Genesis Spiritual Life and Conference Center, Mary’s Meadow, Providence Place at Ingleside, Providence Ministries for the Needy, and The Hillside at Providence, including the de Paul Center and Hillside Residence.
The Hillside at Providence, a 27-acre campus, currently has two sites. Hillside Residence is a 34-unit affordable elderly housing facility integrated with Mercy LIFE, a Program for All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Hillside Residence also has two Transitional Care Units for Mercy LIFE clients with short-term health or family respite needs. The de Paul Center—a 72,000-square-foot rental building—is home to several tenants who work in the health and social service arenas.
