DURING 2025, The Sisters of Providence Archives will be relocating to the Catholic Religious Archives Repository at Boston College. During the transition period, the collection will not be available for genealogical or other research inquiries.

The Boston College website will have information about access when the transition and processing is completed.

Please note that the Sisters of Providence Archives do not hold any official adoption records. Birth parents and adoptees involved in adoptions via Brightside may request records, with the requisite documentation, from Mercy Medical Center/Trinity Health by contacting:
