Welcoming senior vice president of mission

Yvonne Boudreau recently joined the Sisters of Providence Health System (SPHS) as Senior Vice President of Mission Services. In her new position she has a leadership role in promoting, integrating and supporting the mission, vision and values of SPHS and the legacy of the Sisters of Providence. A member of the SPHS Senior Leadership Team, her responsibilities include mission integration, spiritual care, ministry formation, ethics (clinical and organizational), and community benefit. Earlier, she served as Vice President of Mission Integration at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA, and as Executive Director of Mission, Ethics and Pastoral Care at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. She earned a Master’s Degree in Divinity from the University of Toronto (St. Michael’s College) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religious Studies from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island. Boudreau also holds certification as a Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor. “With her extensive ministerial experience, knowledge of contemporary health care issues, and operational background, Yvonne is a significant addition to our senior leadership team,” said Daniel Moen, President and Chief Executive Officer, Sisters of Providence Health System. “This is a wonderful ministry with a history of good works begun by the Sisters of Providence and continuing today,” said Yvonne. “I’m also impressed by the sense of pride that people have in working for, and being associated with, the Sisters of Providence Health System.” |
