Human Service Award Sister Senga Fulton, a Licensed Certified Social Worker, is the 2008 recipient of the Jim Quinn Human Service Award. The award recognizes “a human service professional who has made an outstanding contribution to enhance the social work profession.”
Sister Senga, Director of Annie’s House in Springfield, a program of the Massachusetts Career Development Institute, is photographed here with Timothy Sneed, MCDI’s Executive Director. Annie’s House offers supportive, transitional housing for women who are single and homeless. The Western New England College Social Work Advisory Council selected Sister Senga for the honor. Aurie Irizarry, chair if the organization, made the presentation during the May 14 Regional Social Work Conference, held at WNEC. |
